CRAFTSMANSHIP

Quality craftsmanship is vital in claiming our niche throughout this vast luxury market. We build each bespoke product by hand; hand-cut and hand-assemble.  Then, all of the pieces are hand-stitched with the tradition saddle-stitch; a process in which requires ‘No Machines’.  We finish by applying the hardware, hand-painting and hand-burnishing the edges.

Please Note:  When building an average size travel or handbag, the total process can take anywhere from 30 to 50 hours depending on the intricacies of the design and degree of difficulty; larger pieces require even more time.  We ensure you have a one-of-a-kind leather or exotic good that has no duplicate.  And this is why we thank you for your patience and trusting our process.

Many companies make their leather products with sewing machines and call them ‘handcrafted’.  However, they are actually machine-sewn products driven by the workers hands and not a programmed or robotic sewing machine.  This makes a significant difference in the final product.

Nevertheless, all of our exotic and premium leather goods are sewn by hand, one at a time, with the traditional saddle stitch; which is by far the superior stitch when sewn properly.  This does not discredit machine-sewn products as some have great quality as well.  It just comes down to a matter of preference and taste; craftsmanship being the ultimate determining factor.
